This past Friday Andrew, Betty, Betty's mom and I went up to NYC to visit Andrew's uncle. We decided to chance it and drove up there instead of taking the train. So glad we did! Only took us an hour and half door to door! We were afraid there was going to be tons of traffic with the July 4th holiday. Anyways, we had lunch with Uncle Gene, played at FAO Schwarz, hung out at Central Park and had dinner at a Japanese steak place. The steak place was really, really good. We don't have any pics of any food but here's a few from the park and FAO.

what fun! yeah, i'm sure it was nice to make a visit to the NYC, not just for family time, but also for time to play at FAO! i love how he kissed cookie monster's butt! very cute!
some of us went up to nyc last friday, too! we also went to fao schwartz! we could have run into each other. we took bolt bus. where did you park in nyc?
i don't know how you guys resisted buying A those adorable stuffed animals of cookie monster and elmo?! then again, they were probably completely overpriced at FAO :)

moongsil-we parked in lower east side? it's by b's brothers apt. we totally could have run into each other!
